What type of polymer clay do you use?

My favorite type of clay to use is Premo. I sometimes mix sculpey with Premo to soften the clay, or to get custom colors, but I don’t really like using Sculpey on its own. However, this is just my preference. Sculpey, or other brands of clay, may be what is best for you. Make sure to take the time to research different brands of clay and figure out which works best for what you want to do with polymer clay.

Do you paint your sculptures?

No, I don’t paint the full sculptures. I use colored clay (Premo). I only paint on details, such as the iris in the eyes. I use cheap acrylic paints, usually Ceramcoat or Folk Art.

When did you start sculpting?

To be honest, I don’t remember the exact date I started sculpting. My best guess would be sometime in 2015. I do remember what got me into sculpting, though. I went to a craft store with my mom, and they had a free “class” where we learned how to make a cat and a ghost with polymer clay. After that, I started making a bunch of charms, cats, and eventually, dragons!

Do you do art trades?

No, I don't usually do trades. I am not a huge fan of trades in general. It's just not really my thing.

Do you do commissions?

Yes! However, they are not open right now. You'll probably have to wait until summer. Also, I don't do art for free. Please see the commissions tab for pricing.
